Zoo Boo
Monday, October 26th, 2009We went to the local zoo Halloween celebration on Sunday with some of Ella’s friends. They all had fun collecting candy and looking at the animals. Jeremy hadn’t been to the Seneca Park zoo since he was a kid so he had fun taking pictures of the kids and animals.
Ultrasound update
Monday, October 26th, 2009I had another’s doctor appointment last week and we went over the ultrasound results (other than gender which we already knew). Sizes looked good. She was measuring 19 weeks and 4 days and I was 19 weeks and 2 days the day of the ultrasound so that is good. Her measurements looked good most of them seemed to be 60-70%. Her kidneys were slightly enlarged but because the bladder and fluid levels were good they aren’t concerned abou kidney function. We will get another ultrasound in 10-12 weeks because the enlargement usually resolves on its own by 30 weeks. And even if it doesn’t the only thing they would do would be tell her pediatrictian that they noticed slightly enlarged kidneys. So all and all a good doctor’s appointment. Other than Ella’s breakdown when she thought she would getting another shot (we got her flu shot a few days before) and started crying the minute we walked into the exam room.
It’s a girl!
Wednesday, October 14th, 2009Ella didn’t seem overly impressed with the ultrasound or that she would have a baby sister. In fact on the way home we were talking about how the baby was a girl and she wondered if it would be a boy tomorrow.

Baby’s Hands
Monday, October 5th, 2009Ella was asking this weekend if my baby (in my tummy) had hands and feet. After I told her that it did she told me that her baby (in her tummy) has hands too. And then she wondered if my baby had socks. I told her no socks right now, but we’ll have to buy some for the baby for after it was born. She thought that sounded like a good idea.
