Baby is still there, heartbeat sounded good today. The big ultrasound is in 3 weeks. Julie had to go for a second ultrasound so they could get a better view of the heart yesterday and Ella and I went too. Baby is still a boy (he seems to like to show off his “goods”). I don’t think Ella really understood what was going on, she was less than impressed. But maybe she will enjoy my ultrasound better because she will get to find out if she will have a baby brother or a sister.

Yes, those were the words I heard from my 2 year old as we were at Target getting some new crayons. Right next to the Halloween candy display that has been there since August was a Christas display! In September! Ella was excited to see the Christmas trees and snowmen. How do you explain to a 2 year old that Christmas isn’t for 3 months? She doesn’t completely understand the concept of tomorrow or yesterday!

I think Ella has watched The Pixar movie “Cars” a few too many times – she knows most of the words! And she has started singing along with the songs. It is hilarious. She doesn’t know all the words and she can’t quite sing fast enough so she is always a little bit behind the movie. It cracks me up! I will have to try and get a video of her singing along.
